An accounting software client producing packaged software for small-to-medium size businesses, provides a large Customer Service call center to assist both purchasers and accounting professionals as part of their Software Support program. The position included responsibilities for Accounting, and required Accounting certifications as well as significant captive insurance industry experience. A $2 billion European pharmaceutical company expanding its U.S. presence was seeking an experienced Treasurer to manage its domestic Treasury operation. This search was somewhat unique, in that the position called for the need to create a global cash flow model including implementation of the global pooling of funds. In addition, the position required an experienced professional who would be responsible for and able to create the required financial disciplines in the U.S. market.

In an engagement situation, a consulting firm recognized that while their manufacturing client had a strong CFO, his support staff was lean and lacked experience in Cost Accounting. The client contacted Hire Accountability and asked for personnel assistance and direction.

During our search, we located a junior accountant who was on a similar career track as the CFO. In addition, we identified a senior Cost Accountant with strong industry credentials and experience. Both candidates impressed the client. As the result, the client hired both candidates and created a strong manufacturing costs and financial reporting staff to support the CFO.

A healthcare nursing and outpatient care client had been searching independently for over two months to fill a critical Senior Staff Accounting position. Most of the candidates sourced from their postings were not able to pass the client’s internal assessment process.
